You choose one brand over another because you connect, trust, you’re familiar, you’ve relied on it or it’s been highly recommended by someone you know.

Build an emotional connection.

Tiffanys has recently launched a new ring collection called Tiffany T1 

And they don’t sell the technical description: if the diamond has a princess-cut — that’s just a feature of the stone. 

They talk about  “Tiffany T1 celebrates our first connection: the one to ourselves”. It represents courage, strength, and optimism—just like the women who wear it”.

Create a brand that makes people feel happy, positive, young, confident.  Maybe calm or energetic.

Products are transformed into brands because of emotions. You have relationships with brands, not with products.

As a creative entrepreneur, you can do the same with your brand. 

Connect with your audience. Because, as humans, we connect with other humans through emotions. And we do this with content and visuals.

Each piece of content, message, mail that our brand expresses needs emotions behind to connect with real people.

People don’t buy products. They buy emotions. 

How do we create emotional content?

1)    Define your why and your values. Why your brand is different from the others. Why is it unique. What do you stand for?  Be genuine. What are your brand values

2)    Know who your ideal customer is. Because when you know exactly how she feels and what she thinks you can connect. Is like talking to your best friend. You need to know her.

3)    What are they passionate about? Knowing exactly what is she going through, what she cares about, what problem she needs to be solved, and why she needs your product or service. For eg. people don’t want to buy a diet menu, they want things like a healthier lifestyle, to look good, to lose 50 lbs.
