This week I had a call with a client, and I was asking her about her business in these uncertain times. One of her responses was this: \u201cI feel confused, not knowing what I should do next\u201d, said Nathalie. \u201cI need to make more sales\u201d.<\/p>\n
Another friend sent me a DM and said: \u201cThings are moving but I know I need to make changes to make the most out of my business. I feel stuck and overwhelmed.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n So, what’s stopping you from building the brand of your dreams? There are a couple of reasons that I often hear when I asked this question. I know how important it is to have clarity. After all, clarity allows you to know exactly what steps to take and where to head to.<\/p>\n And the way to get that clarity is to build your brand foundations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Similar to building a house, you build the foundation first, you then build the walls, the windows and the roof.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Your brand foundations are the essential beginnings of a building.<\/p>\n You need to be clear on the following aspects of your brand:-<\/p>\n Your why\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Why did you start your business? What motivates you to work in this particular project? Why you? Why now?<\/p>\n Your vision<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 What kind of business do you want? What values does your brand promote? Where do you want to be in 1, 3 and 5 years?<\/p>\n Your ideal client<\/strong>\u2013 Who do you serve? Why does she need you? What problem are you helping to solve with your product or service?<\/p>\n Your story<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 What\u2019s the story behind the brand? Why is your brand different?
